If your safety needs aren’t met, making a change will feel and be a lot harder. Because when something is outside of your comfort zone, the body goes into protective mode and seeks familiarity. (aka, the things you keep doing that you want to change)

This session is a 90-minute deep dive into the unique patterns of your nervous system.

You'll create deeper somatic-awareness of your survival responses so you can rewire your nervous system to become more resilient and unlock more potential to thrive.

 

In our 90-minutes together you’ll: 

  1. Gain awareness of how your unique nervous system functions 
  2. Uncover the stories, sensations, and contributing factors which keep your threat responses on high alert
  3. Build an alliance with your nervous system 
  4. Start to rewire your system to thrive

── What is Nervous System Mapping? 

Nervous System Mapping is a framework through which you can see the patterns, habits, and intricacies of your nervous system in each state. Based on Polyvagal Theory and the work of Stepehn Porges and Deb Dana, Nervous System mapping gives you the tools to deepen self-awareness and sense safety within yourself through the lens of your nervous system and neuroception.

Neuroception (coined by Porges) describes how the autonomic nervous system continuously takes in information from external, internal, and interpersonal sources and determines if it’s a cue of safety or danger.

With deeper awareness, you can uproot any mismatches in your system to what is actually happening in your environment, thus giving you greater agency and alignment with how you want to be in the world.

  • Somatic coaching rooted in Somatic Experiencing, polyvagal theory, neuroscience, mindfulness, and parts work
  • Detailed session notes + your own nervous system map
  • Recording of session (optional)
  • Bespoke practices + resources to support your system to build capacity
  •  Integration pages to solidify the work from the session

I'm a life coach and nervous system enthusiast who is passionate about helping you thrive as your whole, authentic self.   

I call myself a nervous system nerd because I'm deeply fascinated about how cool it is to learn (and leverage) the language and wisdom of the body.

I know what it's like to reach expert-level in freeze mode and feel like flight mode keeps calling like a persistent tele-marketer. AND, I also know the ways to ensure these modes aren't always stuck on ON.
